European conference Culture and Disability
May 6, 2003, the Council of Ministers Education, Youth, Culture of the European Union adopted a Resolution concerning the access of the disabled people to the infrastructures and cultural activities. This one comprises the wish to see carrying out an assessment of the actions and measurements engaged until the end of 2005. In this context, the Conference European Culture and Disability of June 7th, 2006 will bring together representatives of Finland, the United Kingdom, Spain, France… to make a statement on to the public their actions and the devices in this field.
This exchange is placed within the framework of the European Meetings Culture and Disability which aim to bring together the professionals, the individuals and/or the structures working for artistic creation of people with disabilities like for their integration in the cultural structures in Europe.
